BMW Golf Cup 2025 (A)
The BMW Golf Cup 2025 has officially kicked off in India, marking the start of the largest international amateur golf tournament series. With 18 tournaments spanning across 9 cities, including Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Greater Noida, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Gurugram, the event promises an exciting journey for amateur golfers. The winners of regional tournaments will compete at the national finals in Gurugram later in 2025.
As one of the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments, the BMW Golf Cup has its origins in the UK as the BMW Invitation Tournament. Over the last 25 years, it has evolved into a global series with 1,000 qualifying tournaments, involving 100,000 players across 50 countries. Participants at the national level will have the chance to qualify for the highlight event — the BMW Golf Cup World Final.
Open to golfers who are members of recognized golf clubs in India, the BMW Golf Cup offers an exclusive, invitation-only experience. It’s also a loyalty program that rewards BMW customers with the opportunity to compete in one of the largest amateur golf tournaments globally. The competition features three categories: A (for handicaps up to 12), B (for handicaps 13–28), and a Ladies Category (for handicaps up to 28). The winners in each category will qualify for the National Final, with the ultimate victors securing a spot in the World Final.
BMW Group India remains committed to fostering the sport of golf, offering a platform for amateur golfers to showcase their skills while interacting socially with fellow enthusiasts and BMW customers. Additionally, exclusive BMW Lifestyle Collection products will be available at the tournament.
