BMW Golf Cup International

BMW Golf Cup International

Overview

The BMW Golf Cup 2025 kicks off in India, marking the start of the largest international amateur golf tournament series. With 18 tournaments spanning across nine cities—Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Greater Noida, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Gurugram—the event promises an exciting journey for amateur golfers. The winners of regional tournaments will compete at the national finals in Gurugram later in the year. As one of the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments, the BMW Golf Cup traces its origins to the UK as the BMW Invitation Tournament. Over the past 25 years, it has evolved into a global series with 1,000 qualifying tournaments, involving 100,000 players across 50 countries. In 2025, the BMW Golf Cup World Final will be held in South Africa, where national winners from around the world will compete for the ultimate title. Open to golfers who are members of recognized golf clubs in India, the BMW Golf Cup offers an exclusive, invitation-only experience. It also serves as a loyalty program that rewards BMW customers with the opportunity to compete in one of the largest amateur golf tournaments globally. The competition features three categories: A (for handicaps up to 12), B (for handicaps 13–28), and a Ladies Category (for handicaps up to 28). The winners in each category will qualify for the National Final, with the ultimate victors earning a spot in the World Final. In 2025, the tournament will feature enhanced hospitality experiences, including luxury test drives of BMW’s latest models and exclusive networking opportunities for participants. BMW Group India remains committed to fostering the sport of golf, providing a platform for amateur golfers to showcase their skills while engaging with fellow enthusiasts and BMW customers. Additionally, exclusive BMW Lifestyle Collection products will be available at the tournament, adding to the premium experience.
