K&A Golf India flawlessly managed the Hero Indian Open 2024 at the prestigious DLF Golf and Country Club. The tournament, which took place between March 28-31, 2024, boasted a record prize purse of USD 2.25 million and introduced several first-time incentives. A high-powered field of star players, including leading Indian names and notable international golfers, graced the event, which was a part of the Asian Swing of the DP World Tour this year.
The tournament witnessed 144 players vying for the trophy, with the winner taking home a handsome USD 382,500. Hero MotoCorp’s enduring support as the Title Sponsor, spanning two decades, underscored the tournament’s significance. This edition also marked the 10th year of the tournament’s partnership with the DP World Tour, formerly the European Tour, further solidifying its stature as a premier fixture in global golfing. Keita Nakajima’s exceptional performance, which clinched victory with a record-setting score of 17-under, highlighted the tournament’s international significance.
Alongside Nakajima’s stellar win, local talent from the DLF Golf Academy – Veer Ahlawat shone, securing a commendable tied-second position, much to the delight of enthusiastic spectators.
